SVK Stage One has been completed. By all accounts a very successful day. We went in with an extremely ambitious shotlist of 92 shots. Somehow 17 hours later we had managed to get all 92 shots plus about 20 more. I can't say enough how impressed with my Cast & Crew I was ... they rose to the challenge and undaunted took it on shot by shot.
Sabine the Make Up Artist exceded all our expectations when it came to creating a believable Vampire ...
Peter Peart the actor playing the Vampire was totally transformed and brought to the charactor an extra dimension that pushed the Vampire from our imaginations into the real world.
Chris Conroy the actor playing the Samurai Vampire Killer was utterly heroic in his delivery of the Vampire Killer. Larry Larstead on Lights illuminated the set with his wisdom, Graham Nickson the Camera Operator stoically refused to succumb to the fever that threatened to engulf him, Faye and Ariescia our Location Managers/Caterers delivered the perfect environment for creativity in keeping us well nourished and refreshed ...
now all that remains is the many months of post production compositing etc. and one more day shoot that we're planning to take on in January/Feburary.
